One thing I ❤️ about 🐦 is the illuminating threads by subject experts, like this
RT @HeleneBismarck@twitter.com
Boris Johnson has had a good war. The Russian attack against #Ukraine has probably saved his premiership. But that does not mean that UK support for Ukraine is all about him. It is British, not just Johnsonian. For Ukraine, and for Europe as a whole, this is good news.

Conservative MP Danny Kruger says the UK should not be “lecturing” the US about abortion rights.
He says he disagrees with those who "think that women have an absolute right to bodily autonomy in this matter." https://t.co/n2kAHz6X9K

This would be funny if it weren’t historically describing literally the prevailing views of Leavers, apart from the hyperbolic “starve” and 50 vs 50/100

MrsS tells me this has been the case at some medical conferences too
RT @KarenLMasters@twitter.com
So many astronomers I personally know (including myself) down with Covid recently. Common factor - flying for a conference. Be careful out there. Keep masking to reduce your risk but acknowledge (recommend out loud) the risk isn’t zero for anyone. No matter how careful.

73/76 BUT… it is a wonderful life. I really would not change it for the world. On a sunny day, when kids are on bridges waving at you and people are smiling, there is nothing like it.

@support Sorry to bother you but is there a way on the koyu.space website to change the background to a lighter colour please? For some reason it’s turned into dark grey background with black text! (See toots above.) I’m sure I’m missing something but at the mo the only way I can use koyu.space is in a separate iOS app :(

Black font on nearly black background in the settings but no setting for light-mode AFAICS... I guess I could try and rig something in Greasemonkey...?
