i'm officially moving to my own instance \^=^/

thank you Koyu and everyone who sees this, for the great memories here<3

2020 selfhosting:

is only possible with a vps to get a public legacy ip, and some proxying / network magic x.x

for a healthy (decentralized) internet ipv6 has to become a first class citizen

~/.ash_history is the closest thing I have to a brain computer interface

I was pretty fed up with the behavior of 'df', so I wrote my own diskfree tool.

It's called 'duf', it's written in #golang, and you can get it here: github.com/muesli/duf

On ArchLinux, you can simply install 'duf' from the AUR.

re: after years of great service i've upgraded my trusty x230..

@awalvie my tactic is to adopt unwanted thinkpad parts to have a spare! i'm pretty sure i could build an other x230 or 20 already, but rn i'm going with laptop raid 1 ;)

re: upgraded my trusty x230

@wolf480pl absolutely! it's lightyears better:)

after years of great service i've upgraded my trusty x230..

@nia@catgirl.science sorry! apparently rebuilding the network at 3 am was a bad idea..^^

@steph its a fort with a lot of tunnels, and I usually have to wear hoodies inside to not freeze up :D (also it's possible to sleep inside, there are a few ww2 military field beds which are quite comfy)

@steph watch out the date is changed:)
August 20-23

@sir A combination of both options, with the ability is the choose either one, and create/adapt the experience for yourself instead of having a dictated gameplay.
