Electronics folks, if the conformal coating flakes off the top of a chip like this then could it be a sign the chip has gotten hot, or more likely just an assembly/curing issue? Rest of the board has A+ coating

Fedi is the most strange thing in the world.

On normal social media, you write a message and people just ignore it forever.

Here, you write a message, it stays ignored for 1 or 2 years, and then all of a sudden, for no reason, with no explanation, someone finds it somehow, boosts it, and it gets 200 likes and 120 boosts.

What the fuck.

I'm sure someone will boost this message in 2021 or 2022.

Linux elitism makes me sick. I'm tired of people screaming at me what I should be doing on my computer. Shouldn't the linux desktop be about freedom, not about basement people with super inflated egos narrowing your choices?

Please don't be a linux elitist. It's not healthy for the community and your social life.

Just incredible software design here. Windows 11 requires that you connect to WiFi before it will let you go to the desktop to install your WiFi drivers. The official MS documentation says what you should do in this case is manually install the drivers from usb + command prompt

Warning: someone is spamming cryptocurrency on Fedi  

Just had someone try to "send" me cryptocurrency through a Fedi account without my knowledge or consent.

To "collect" what is "sent", people mentioned would have to sign up to their service. I did not do this, and never will.

I am not at all comfortable seeing my username on their list of recipients, it makes it look like I use cryptocurrency.

For the record: I don't use any form of cryptocurrency/token/NFT. I never have and never will, ever.

Please don't have anything to do with this, "sending" tokens like this is effectively just spamming people. I have reported it as spam.

This is not at all nice for those of us who want to stay as far away from cryptocurrency as possible.
