What is it about Reddit that destroys my web browsers? Edge becomes slow/frozen pretty quickly. Chrome is somewhat better but eventually succumbs. I think it has something to do with video, but I don't have them set to auto play.

Just sold my motorcycle and it's kind of bittersweet. I still love it but it's just become too dangerous in Austin; it's like Mad Max on these streets. I'll ride again if it gets better

I usually love playing magic users in games, but in #EldenRing I was not getting the hype. I switched to Samurai and now I'm obsessed. I'm also kind of kicking ass, which is surprising, hearing how tough this game is supposed to be 😎
The most daunting thing for me about joining Mastodon/Fediverse was picking an instance.
Having joined one, a RL metaphor emerges for me: "it's like picking an apartment building."
You need to evaluate the management. Do they respect tenant rights? Is the desk clerk skeevy?
Do you want to live in a big impersonal complex? Or a little boarding house, where people share a lot and have house parties? You can even be a "home owner" and run your own instance (pay the bills, fix the plumbing).
