@Bradley_JF Windows user here (no, I'm not proud of it) - it should go away if you switch to a picture or slideshow as your lock screen background in Settings as opposed to Windows spotlight
there is a way to save those background images if you like them but I won't get into that here, DuckDuckGo is your friend
@drchicken yeah, I'd save up for the 256GB model - most games aren't getting any smaller and load times should be faster with an NVMe drive
hello! I've been on the Fediverse for about a year on another instance but might as well introduce myself here.
I'm dmgr_ (yeah, weird name, i know - it's a long story) and I mostly post about music, technology, and whatever ends up floating around in my head.
as far as hobbies, I'm learning French, sorta know my way around Python, and managed to get a full Arch Linux install running off a horrendously slow 16GB USB 2.0 flash drive once. (I'm not that great at handling boredom, haha)
