Olan Rogers, the creator of Final Space has a Kickstarter for an animated short and a six episode behind the scenes series. He's also hoping that this will help him pitch the show so he can finish it.
I love Final Space and would love to see it concluded sometime. I hope someone sees this and maybe gives it a little boost :-)

I've put together a survey about the Small Internet (#gopher, #gemini, individual webpages, small community sites) and I would love your input. If you are a small internet user, please spend a few minutes and fill in your thoughts. I'm especially interested in the open response questions. This will help inform an upcoming conference talk I'll be giving at https://mch2022.org
Also, please boost this on fedi as much as possible and feel free to re-share on other social networks and in other communities. The more responses the better.
A nice little video with an important reminder about tracking and privacy on the internet, in relation to "Big Tech".
Plus it has cats in it! 😺

#linux users of the #fediverse , particularly those who specialize in #accessibility #software : I'm looking into the possibility of installing #Ubuntu on to an older laptop I've uncovered amongst my belongings. Is there any text to speech or screen reader software available?
I've heard about a program called Orca, but don't really know much about it. Is it any good? Do you recommend any alternatives?
Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
Ég er hættur að drekka. Ég hef ekki átt við vandamál að stríða en ég er kominn á þann stað í lífinu að mér líður betur í félagslegum aðstæðum edrú en undir áhrifum.
I've stopped drinking. I don't have a problem with alcohol but I've arrived at a place in my life where I feel better in social circumstances sober than under the influence of alcohol.
Sidenote. I've seen on other mastodon instances that not all languages are allowed to make moderating easier. Should I stop writing also in Icelandic?
Ẃent on a Hike in Skaftafell a couple of days ago. It was supposed to be a two day hike, sleeping in a tent. There was so much rain and everything was so wet that I decided to walk back the same day instead of camping. On the way back I had to wade a 20 meter wide river up to my knees that had not been there earlier in the day. There was so much rain that I took no pictures. Now I've been to Skaftafell but I've not seen Skaftafell.
Ég er búinn að vera að hlusta mikið á Scott Buckley. Hann er tónskáld frá Ástralíu og gefur tónlistina sína út fría á vefsíðunni sinni https://scottbuckley.com.au/
Flest af verkunum hans eru róleg kvikmyndatónlist og ég mæli með því að þið kíkið á vefsíðuna hans.
I've been listening a lot to the music of Scott Buckley. He's an Australian composer and gives away his music for free on his website https://scottbuckley.com.au/
Most of his pieces are somber cinematic music and I recommend you check out his website.
